Lonely Planet review
Occupying almost an entire city block, Hermanos Villar has two parts: the bustling Dominican-style diner serving cafeteria food and hot, grilled deli sandwiches, and a large outdoor garden restaurant that is slightly more upscale in terms of menu. The chicken mofongo (mashed yucca or plantains with pork rinds, RD$175) is delicious. Finding an empty table inside during the heavy lunchtime traffic is a challenge, so getting things to go is always an option.
