La Casa Azul
Service leaves mucho to be desired but the Italian owners turn out decent pizza, with a few tables right on the sand.
Lonely Planet review
Unlike some of its trendier neighbors, La Yuca Caliente is casual in menu and appearance, but a step above in food and service. Huge portions of Spanish, Italian and fish dishes and excellent pizzas are served by a professional and courteous staff who run circles around most others in town – our server might have even come back twice to see how we were getting along. Tables are set out on the beach amid swaying palm trees and the low-key sound system is conversation-friendly; and the massive water goblets make you feel like a guest at the Last Supper.
