My Father's Place Guesthouse
Narakiel's Inn
Dominica has no big resorts but it does have all sorts of wonderful places to hang your hat, from cottages tucked into the jungle, artsy boutique inns, guesthouses dripping with local color and remote ecohideaways. Prices are very reasonable compared to other Caribbean islands. However, off-property dining options may be elusive at some of the more far-flung places, and on-site meal plans can easily add US$50 per person to your daily tally.
We’ve listed rates for the peak season (December to April), so expect significant discounts at other times. The price breakdown is as follows:
| $ | budget | under US$75 |
| $$ | midrange | US$75 to US$200 |
| $$$ | top end | over US$200 |
In most cases, room rates listed do not include the 10% value-added tax (VAT) and a 10% to 15% service charge. Always enquire what’s included when making a reservation.
