  • Waasu Stone Circle: Ancient and enigmatic stone circles at  Jangjang-Bureh, northwest of Georgetown.  This is one of the best examples in the Senegambian region of the enigmatic megaliths which are a feature of the area, the circle consists of about 20 massive, reddish-brown stones between one and 2.5 metres high and weighing several tonnes
