Im helping my beloved 50-60s parents' upcoming Scandinavian trip. I was wondering if there were any recommendations on how to optimize their trip (below). They need to stay in Billund for a conference for 5 days, but the rest of the trip is completely flexible They like historic sites, grand architecture, natural beauty. Theyre not really into beaches, partying, galleries.

This community has helped me before, and I would love to gain valuable knowledge from real people vs official tourist…

We will likely be traveling with 2 kids 7/3 to Copenhagen for a week to 10 days. We will have a car while we are there. As the kids won't want to do much shopping, hanging out a cafes and there needs to be a balance between sightseeing and for them to play/ relax, looking to get idea what is something we shouldn't miss that would be good for kids and adults alike. We just want to see the country, culture and nature, are not looking to spend a obscene amound of $, but do want to leave with the…

Hello!

I am traveling to Copenhagen for the first time at the end of June, and I am hoping to stay at a hostel and work in exchange for room and board. Does anyone have any suggestions for this? I would be willing to do pretty much any work, but I only plan on staying in Copenhagen for a max of a week or two, which can complicate things!

Any information relating to this topic is greatly appreciated!

Happy travels to all

I will be traveling to Denmark for 6 nights, 7 days in early March. I'm in the early planning stages, but I'm trying to gather information and insight about how to best utilize my time. As it gets closer, I'll have some better informed questions.

At this point, I'm exploring the option about staying in Copenhagen the entire time and doing several day-trips from Copenhagen or doing half my time in Copenhagen and spending the other half elsewhere in Denmark or go over to Sweden. I realize the…

Hi Guys,

Hope all of you are fine :)

I need an advise in moving to Denmark (Copenhagen). Let me provide summary about my education and work. I've done 4 years of bachelor's in Telecommunication Engineering and I'm from Pakistan and do remote job for Danish company since last 2 years. Since 2 years, they are providing me 8,500 DKR/month which is quite good for in Pakistan and my responsibilities to setup and maintain IT systems hence I'm from IT industry.

Now I got a job offer from UAE, and…

Hello

I´d be really grateful if someone could explain what is a Mobilklippekort (in the Copenhagen region) and how it works…? I used to live in Denmark 10 years ago and I remember a thing called Klippekort, which you could buy for different zones and then you would stamp them at the train station for the amount of trips that corresponded to the zones you were going to travel through. I saw on rejseplanen.dk that it´s called Mobilklippekort now (was looking up the prices for going to Roskilde)…

G'day! Im about to embark on a 5 week winter adventure and im concerned about the excess weight of my winter clothing & shopping (on my return flight back home). Emirates has quoted me $92 AUD per extra kg which is beyond ridiculous...

Can anyone recommend a reputable & cost effective shipping company to use to send luggage (approx 20kgs) back to Sydney from Copenhagen? To add to my dilemma, I will be continuing on to Greenland from Copenhagen but wanted to send back some stuff to Australia as…

Hello!

I'm a college student who will be visiting a friend of mine in London this week, the two of us will be going to Copenhagen from the 8-10th.

I've heard Copenhagen is very easy to see in a day or two and was wondering what the most efficient way to sight see in the short amount of time we have. Our flight lands in the afternoon on Friday, and we fly back to London on Sunday afternoon.

As Saturday is our only full day in the city, does anyone have recommendations as to what attractions…
