Looking for the best suggestions in terms of where to stay when visiting Copenhagen with 2 kids under 9yo

Appreciate the thoughts and suggestions
my wife and I spend a long weekend each year without our kids, in June 2015 in Copenhagen. We are looking for a quiet / romantic hotel in central Copenhagen. We want to relax and need some quietness and space, it does not have to be a trendy boutique hotel where we can't sleep well. Does anyone have a hint ? Budget is 150 Euro + per night for a double room.
Expecting to stay for 3 days in Copenhaguen beggining January with a group of three, we would like to visit Louisina Museum.
How can we reach it from Copenhaguen downtown? Does anyone know if there is such a combined ticket including Museum and train or bus?
Hello, I am a backpacker on a quick little jaunt to Denmark. Saw an airfare this am for too cheap to pass up so booked a quick 10 day trip ($450 inc taxes from Los Angeles). Have no idea about Denmark other than it will be cold and dark, but why not a different experience. I was thinking a couple days in Copenhagen then maybe a 5/6 day tour around the country? What is the cheapest easiest way for 1 person to do this? I was hoping to catch the northern lights but think it's too far south unless…
Thank you in advance for any answers to my questions.
I am a University student from America who is studying abroad in Copenhagen for my next semester. I am applying for different housing options in Copenhagen and am having difficulties deciding the best places to live. I am a fun-loving, preppy, 21 year old, but am from a smaller city in the US. I want to make sure that where I live will be safe for me, trendy, enjoyable and convenient!
Most of my options are in Norreboro…
I will be going to Copenhagen for the weekend (Saturday - Sunday) together with my 17 year old niece. We will be staying at Kalvebod Brygge and are looking for tips on:
- Eating out
- Dancing (is it allowed for a 17 yo to go to bars in Copenhagen?)
Any tips are welcome!
I'm planning a trip to Copenhagen in the spring and would really like to visit the island of Elleore. I understand it's unpopulated 51 weeks of the year but am hoping there is a tour or a boat I can charter to get there. Does anyone know?
We are traveling from Berlin to Copenhagen and found a train we would like to book but are worried about the limited transfer time. The booking suggests a 17min transfer time in Hamburg and a 9min transfer time in Fiensburg. Will it be possible to get these connections in time? If we miss a train due to delays does DB put us on another train or will we have to book a new train?
Last time I was in Copenhagen, I could not figure out how to purchase a ticket from the DSB automat and ended up walking two hours in the rain. I asked several people for help, but it was rush hour and no one seemed to have a minute to help me. I also had a problem that the machine did not seem to like that my credit card had neither a chip and I didn't know the PIN. I did not have enough cash on me either. So hoping to avoid this embarrassment and a long walk next week when I return to…
