An acquaintance of mine from Canada claims she was refused service in a Copenhagen restaurant because she was on her own. Unlikely as it sounds, has anyone ever heard of such a thing?
We are in Copenhagen from 7-10 July and then have 4 days before flying out.
Which would be best?
2 days in Bornholm?
and 2 days in Aarhus?
1 or 2 days in Funen ?
1 or2 days in Roskilde?
Any help gratefully received? We don't like being too rushed?
Thank - you ,
We are a family of four and will be spending 3 days, 2 nights in Copenhagen without a car.
Children are 4 and 5.
We basically just want to hang out....have picnics, etc.
What are some good areas to stay in? We arrive by ferry at Dampfærgevej 30, 2100 København Ø
and we leave by air from Copenhagen airport.
We are planning to spend a few days cycling around Bornholm in the first half of May. Does anyone know how is the weather there during this time? Is it easy to rent a bike in Bornholm in May?
Thanks in advance
I know this is a long shot but maybe someone can help. I am going to a retreat in Rodby, Lolland after 6 weeks travelling in Europe. I do not have space in luggage to bring camping gear from Australia so wondered if I could buy a tent, airbed etc at Rodby. (I don't need cooking gear just somewhere to sleep). I am flying in to Copenhagen, arriving early afternoon and need to buy gear and get to Rodby that afternoon so not much time. I thought I had accommodation at the retreat but that has…
I'm going to Denmark next week and I just found out that the last empty page of my passport is torn (quite small, almost 2 cm.) but other pages are totally fine and my passport is still in good condition. Do you think I would get into any troubles? Is this considered a damaged passport? I'm really worried but I have no time to go make a new one. Thanks in advance

Having grown up in a Nordic-obsessed family and with the recent surge in the love for everything Scandi, I am a not infrequent visitor to Copenhagen - my joint-favourite of the Nordic capitals. However, every time I have visited CPH I have stayed right in the city centre (hotel / hostel / Airbnbs - you know the drill!) and this time I am on the hunt for something a little more secluded and - dare I say it? - authentic. I will also be travelling solo, therefore do not need anything…
I'm going on exchange in Copenhagen and I want a room from the private market so to speak. Just not really into the dorm life anymore. I'm going there in September until January/February. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knows any good services to look for a place to live for a maximum 6 month period? Studio preferably. I checked out housinganywhere.com already but I want to broaden my options.
