We are traveling from Berlin to Copenhagen and found a train we would like to book but are worried about the limited transfer time. The booking suggests a 17min transfer time in Hamburg and a 9min transfer time in Fiensburg. Will it be possible to get these connections in time? If we miss a train due to delays does DB put us on another train or will we have to book a new train?
Last time I was in Copenhagen, I could not figure out how to purchase a ticket from the DSB automat and ended up walking two hours in the rain. I asked several people for help, but it was rush hour and no one seemed to have a minute to help me. I also had a problem that the machine did not seem to like that my credit card had neither a chip and I didn't know the PIN. I did not have enough cash on me either. So hoping to avoid this embarrassment and a long walk next week when I return to…
Hey guys, I'm leaving for Denmark on Wednesday (totally unprepared! Gah!). I'll be gone for 11 days. I'm thinking about four days in Copenhagen, and maybe 2-3 day trips (Roskilde? Aarhaus? Other thoughts?). That would leave me with another 4-5 days - are there other places in Denmark I should hit? Or should I plan a side trip to Sweden? Suggestions?
I'd also like to do this without breaking the bank, although I recognize that Scandinavia in general is hardly a budget destination. Any insights…
I'm planning to go to Denmark for second time using an invitation. And I wanted to know: does the embassy check verifications from universities?
(I had no problems with it the last time)
We will be visiting Copenhagen in October and was hoping to rent a bike for a 7 year old during our time there. I've looked at several bike rental websites and have emailed them to inquire, but I have not gotten any responses. Does anyone know of a rental or even a bike shop that rents out kid bikes? Thanks!
I only have 2 days in Copenhagen and need suggestions on where to stay--City Centre or Vesterbro? And which hotel? I am traveling with the CEO of my company and we will need a good hotel (around $250 a night). All suggestions are very appreciated.
I plan on spending two full days in Copenhagen before driving north to Oslo. Any recommendations on some can't miss sights and adventures would be appreciated. I love good food, so any recommendations on local cuisine would be great. I also would like to explore more of the unheralded attractions that the city might offer. Please let me know what you think!
Hi all- My wife and I (now with baby in tow) are heading to Copenhagen in late September to cover the traditional and native Danish dishes of Copenhagen for our website. We are starting our preliminary research and would love any suggestions of regional, local dishes and drinks that are definitive to the city and surrounding areas and any great places to sample them. Thanks so much!
Me and my boyfriend have been looking for apartment in Copenhagen for A YEAR NOW! Been signed up for waiting lists, daily checked boligportal.dk, lejebolig.dk and dba.dk and nothing! We have got asked twice for a open house but that was waste of time.
For my opinion our requirements arent too high, so thats not the case.
I am from Finland and he is from Denmark, we live in his parents house at the moment, but like everybody who have been living with their parents-in-laws knows, its not…
