I am planning on a cycling trip from Paris via Amsterdam to Copenhagen this Fall. In preparation I am trying to work out the timing. I have an appointment in Copenhagen (well Malmö) on Nov 30th. From what I'm reading Late November might not be the best time to cycle from Amsterdam to Copenhagen. I am Canadian and thus am pretty used to sub-zero temperatures but am wondering if it is non-stop cold rain / wind/ even some ice at that time of year AND if campgrounds will be closed. I could plan to…

Bornholm

Hi,

Where would anyone recommend to go to in the Island of Bornholm for 5-6 days?

We're looking to chill out, yet still being close to a town.

So my fiancee and I are planning a trip to Denmark, and we want to only use public transportation. The itinerary I am thinking of is based on a car trip, but I am hoping it'll work for the train/bus as well.

Day One: Copenhagen

Day Two: Humlebæk, then Helsingør

Day Three: Hillerød, then Roskilde

Day Four: Odense

Day Five: Svendborg

Day Six and Seven: Ærø and return to Copenhagen

Would this be doable by bus/train? Or if only some of it is, what could I do instead that would be easier?

Tak…

Hello,
My wife and I have lunch reservations for 4 people on September 8th, 2016 at Noma. We are looking for 2 others to join us as the reservations are otherwise impossible to get and we cannot reduce our booking down to 2 people. We're traveling to Copenhagen for a week and coming from Chicago. If you're interested, please let me know and we can sort out the details.

Hi all,

I've taken a job in Copenhagen and will be relocating from California to Copenhagen in August. I am going to try to take most things with me in checked baggage but have a 2 bag limit on my flight. I want to package some housewares and toiletries (I hear that it is very hard to get certain products that I like in Denmark) to send over. It is not something I need immediately upon arrival so wondering if there are freight options that are not so weight based that they are exorbitant. I…

I've been going to Copenhagen a few times and had a good time staying at AirBnB homes which were reasonably priced.

Looking for a place to stay this summer, AirBnB prices have exceeded what some hotels charge, especially in the city center.

Just saying - before you go, compare the prices. The town isn't cheap to begin with, and some AirBnB owners are taking advantage of that.

My boyfriend and I are staying in Copenhagen (we arrived Monday and leave next Weds) and are thinking of renting a car to go to Helsinger and Louisiana one day, Mon another day (then drive to Aarhus) and spend the 3rd day in Aarhus. 1) Is renting a car a good idea? The rates seem pretty cheap compared to the train tickets.
2) Is car rental insurance high?
3) Is there a car rental company that you'd recommend?
4) What is parking in Copenhagen like? Easy/hard to find spaces? Places with free…

I am currently 17 years old, and have plans to take a solo trip to Europe this Summer. I will be flying from New York to Copenhagen, with a connecting flight in Reykjavik, Iceland. Other than my passport, what papers should I prepare prior to leaving? Will immigration want to see a letter of consent from my parent, proof of a return ticket, or any other documents? Are there likely to be any hold-ups caused by my age?

I'll be in Denmark in early June and it looks like there are 1 hour sailing excursions on replica Viking ships starting in May, but I've found conflicting info about if you can reserve in advance or not. Does anyone know if you can reserve in advance? If not, how early do we need to get there to guarantee a spot?

Dear all,

we will arrive on late Wednesday evening in Copenhagen. And we were wondering if there will be an open shop or supermarket in Copenhagen (area Nørrebro or Frederiksberg) on Thursday (Ascension Day)?
Or are there any open Bistros or Restaurants in this area recommended where also Kids (5 - 9 years) are welcome?

Any help will be highly appreciated! : - D

Kind regards,
angel
