Getting around
Svendborg Cykeludlejning (62 20 77 41; www.svendborgcykeludlejning.dk; Jessens Mole 9B; 9am-1pm Jun–mid-Aug) has 68 bikes for rent (adult/child 70/50kr per day), including tandems (140kr per day). The Svendborg tourist office sells a good little booklet entitled 12 Biking Tours in South Funen & on Taasinge & Thurø (15kr), outlining interesting bike rides around the area.
You need a parking disc for most parking in the town centre, which you can buy from the tourist office.
