Lonely Planet review for Strædet

Running parallel to Strøget to the south is Strædet, perhaps the most beautiful shopping street in the city. Strædet’s two streets, Kompagnistræde and Læderstræde, are charming and packed with shops. Its strong points are its excellent range of independent jewellers and antique silver shops, but there are several good cafes here, too. Though supposedly pedestrian, cars and, more perilously, fast-moving cyclists do still venture this way, so keep your wits about you.
