Lonely Planet review for Tivoli
There are three entrances to Tivoli: the main one on Vesterbrogade, another opposite the main entrance to the Central Station and one on HC Andersens Blvd opposite Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek. You pay both for entrance and then again for whatever rides you choose thereafter (usually around 25kr each), although a multiride ticket covers all the rides, among them the Star Flyer, reputedly the world’s tallest carousel. There are also plenty of free shows, including the Saturday-night fireworks (on show from mid-June to mid-August), the nightly laser show spectacular and the live band at Plænen every Friday at 10pm from mid-April to late September. Check the website for updates.

Have to see, not really worth another visit
waredgo recommends this,
Tivoli is one of those places that you really shouldn't miss. As far as amusements parks go, it's unspectacular. The food is just O.K., though you can easily find traditional Danish cuisine here.
Tivoli, on the other hand, is worth seeing just once. There is really no reason to come back unless you come to see one of their free concerts or bringing children in tow.
My recommendation is to go around 1 hour before sunset as the lights in Tivoli are one of its attractions.Good for: Leisure

Many people, it's Halloween, good period to visit Tivoli. This theme park in the heart of Copenhagen it's the best place for every age! Many places to eat, drink something or just to walk around! The children will become very happy once you get in there :)
