Lonely Planet review

The architecture and design of the hotel looks like it hasn't been tampered with since the 60s. If trains don't wake you, it's got a handy location nearly on top of Central Station but, sadly, we found staff somewhat unhelpful.

Small and tasteful (with the exception of the unfortunate granny curtains), the lobby of this hotel has had a recent, successful scrub-up. Rooms are painted a faint yellow, giving them a warm feeling, but the typical drab hotel furniture is definitely showing its age and the general decor is far from exciting. Overall, these rooms are extremely low on character. Single rooms are small but have fairly big beds, while double rooms are a little more spacious. Many rooms have bathtubs, though they're mini-sized in the single rooms. The main reason for staying here is that you're almost neighbours with Tivoli and a short stroll from Rådhuspladsen.
