Ultra modern and ultra chic, this place is a worthy sight in itself. In 2005, 21 artists let their imaginations run wild in decorating these rooms. The result is 61 works of art, one of which you could call home.
Step in from beneath the colourful awnings to be greeted by a feather chandelier. The graffiti-decorated lift will whisk you up to your room; choose from the kitsch 'Heidi', the magical 'King Albino', the sultry 'Secret Palace' or the somewhat frightening 'Sleep Well', to name only a few. If you need a breather from the colour in some of the more extreme rooms, escape to the utterly white tiled bathrooms. Breakfast is served in the very cool lobby-cum-cafe where art extends from the wall onto the floor. This hotel has a very organic feel to it and is the definition of modern design - right down to the stylish spoon in your latte. It appears to be gaining popularity by the day so if you've got your eye on a particular room, best to book it well in advance.
