First Hotel Vesterbro Copenhagen

Lonely Planet review
While there's no denying that this is a chain hotel, it's nevertheless a very plush place to snooze. With a downtown location and practically every amenity going, business travellers could definitely do worse.
Rooms have wooden floors, fluffy white duvets, soft calming colours and Picassos on the walls. Furniture is fairly standard hotel style with the exception of one very comfy-looking design armchair. Some bathrooms have tubs, others showers, so specify which you'd prefer. Standard and superior rooms are more or less the same other than a bit of extra breathing space in the latter. Rooms are all allergen-free and half of them are strictly nonsmoking. You'll also find some handy accessories like voice mail, an ISDN outlet and Internet access via the TV. If you're after peace and quiet, ask for a room facing the atrium or courtyard.
