This was one of the pioneers during Vesterbro’s regeneration days, bringing a young party crowd to what was then the unfashionable end of Istedgade. Appealingly squashy sofas invite you to waste the afternoon here among the crowd of dudes and DJs in this grungy but adorable venue.

Sporvejen
This tram-in-the-wall bar is rather tight on space (it is, literally, one of the old trams that used to run in the city), but has plenty of outdoor seating when weather permits. Great for a beer, not a bite.
