    This historic stage is the home venue for the world renowned Kongelige Ballet (Royal Ballet). The season runs from mid-August to late May, skipping the main summer months.

    Denmark's 40,000 seater (slightly more for concerts) national stadium hosts the city's top football team FCK, major sporting events and visiting rock and pop gods such as U2 and Robbie Williams.

  9. Skuespiller Huset

    Denmark's impressive new theatre, Skuespiller Huset, was due to be completed on reclaimed land on the harbourfront at Kvæsthusgade. When finished it will have two stages - one 750 seater, one a 250 seater. At that point theatre productions will move here from Det Kongelige Teater.
