Lonely Planet review for Café FX
Café FX offers some of the best food in Prague in its price range – and it’s all vegetarian. This hippy-chic restaurant at the entrance to the nightclub Radost FX – looking like a faded bordello with its draped chiffon, tasselled lampshades and distressed walls – comes up with imaginative dishes ranging from spinach ravioli stuffed with hazelnut pesto and cheese to sage and mushroom ‘meatballs’ with mashed potatoes and creamy mushroom sauce.

This trendy little cafe in Vinohrady, attached to classic expat lounge haunt Radost FX, has some of the best vegetarian food in town. It's a great place for a hangover brunch when you've finally stumbled out of nearby late-late-night hotspot Le Clan.

still remember the food and atmosphere months later...

this restaurant was really one of our finds during our vacation in prague. in fact, we ate there the 2nd to last day and wished we had gone in earlier since the food was so great. the atmosphere is pretty lounge-like and on the darker side. it feels like tables are intimate and decorative - probably a fun first-date place. my boyfriend is vegetarian, so these veg places were a little rare - especially somewhere with such a broad range of choices and international flavors. portions are hearty, delicious and interesting. it's hard to choose with all of the selections, so i'd recommend returning to try more things on the menu.
