Hi Every one,
I am planning to visit Prague on late September for 4 days with my family, then I am planning to rent a car and travel to nice country side town for 3 days to enjoy the views and the landscape.
I was reading about some towns but still I am not sure which one will be the best to visit, I would like to have your input and suggestions. some of these town are (Hradec kralove, Cesky krumlov, Brno).
Please share your ideas :-)
Will be in Prague in September and hope to go to Karlovy Vary. What is the deal regarding the spas? Can anyone go to the spa or are they connected to hotels. Also any hotel or restaurant recommendation would be great. Thanks for your help.
I'm about to travel to the Czech Republic (Prague to be exact) and for me it is a long time ago paying with another currency within Europe.
I therefore am interested in the experience others had with paying (especially with debit/credit cards) in the Czech Republic... Are there any things I need to keep in mind?
Greetings from Melvin
Hi there :)
I'm a bit of a history nerd, and I'm really interested in the Hapsburgs. I know some of the obvious sites to visit in Prague (like Prague Castle & St Vitus Cathedral) that are linked to the Hapsburgs, but i wondered if anyone knew of any more slightly-off-the-beaten-track sites that would be worth me visiting?
PS: When I say I'm a history nerd I really do mean it, any suggestions would be very welcome!!
Good morning everyone
I will be visiting Prague next week. I would like to spend one day doing some shopping for summer/everyday wear clothes and things. I am not looking for branded clothes. Just a few affordable pieces (about 8 euros a piece maybe). I am not looking for second hand clothes either. Could you suggest one place or area I can go to? I will not have time to travel very far from the neighbourhood I am in to go look for shopping places.
This one is a hypothetical: I'm going to move to Prague with two other friends, intending to live together in a two-bedroom apartment. We'll cook our own food, go out to a bar for a drink once a week, and live very modestly as students whilst finding a job.
How long would one last touching down in Prague with 1000 Euros in one's figurative pocket?
I have a (hopefully) small issue to sort out before I study abroad in the Czech Republic for a semester.
The problem: I was issued a student visa and its start date is September 22, 2016 until February 8, 2017. However, my flight is set to arrive in the Czech Republic on September 21, 2016 (I know, it's a careless, dumb mistake).
I have already contacted the consulate that issued my visa and their response was, "We have issued your visa on the days we were instructed by the Ministry…
I'm a Canadian looking to move to Hradec Kralove for the faculty of medicine in September. I'm just wondering if there is anyone who lives there that can help me out, especially with renting. I'm looking to rent a 1 bedroom within walking distance to the campus but everything is a bit confusing for me. I do need a proof of residence before I can get my visa thsts why I'm trying to get this done ahead of time. Thanks. I don't want to rent from the forstudents site or the forforeigers site…
Between Prague and Vienna if one has to make a choice of being the most thrilling, memorable experience in terms of being in that city, breathing there (As it feels for Maybe New York) Having a great time spending time there which could be a better option. Prague or Vienna. I don't like the Boring Museum stuff. Mostly an urban, city guy like a hustle bustle of a city the busy life of an urban city than a laid back life of a village or town in Switzerland. Which place do I opt for…
