   This museum recreates the history of the village of Lidice – utterly destroyed on 10 June 1942 by Nazi forces in revenge for the assassination of Reichsprotektor Reinhard Heydrich – in photographs, text and an emotive multimedia exhibition, and also screens chilling SS film footage of its destruction.
