Lonely Planet review for Steakhouse Sklipek
With red checked tablecloths and rustic wood furniture this place looks like a hangout for Tony Soprano and his mates. The huge meaty meals are big enough to feed your entire mob too.

Dreadful - I do not recommend

We should have taken note of the fact that there was no one in the restaurant and walked out, but unfortunately we decided to stay. While waiting for our food to arrive we could hear the microwave ping at intervals. I ordered duck and my husband ordered a kebab. The first bite of my duck was lukewarm, and the second was completely cold, so I had to send my meal back. They put the plate back in the microwave to heat it up. When the duck came back it smelt terrible (perhaps over-cooked) and I could not eat it. I was worried about it being bad and making me ill.
Do not go to this place; they don't even know how to microwave food!
Two other people did eventually come into the restaurant that evening, but were sensible enough to order drinks only, and not food.
