The Lemesos–Platres bus (CY£2.50) leaves from Lemesos at 9.30am and arrives in Platres an hour later, Monday to Friday. It returns to Lemesos at 3.15pm. There is also a very early morning bus between Platres and Lefkosia (CY£2.50), via Pedoulas and Troödos, Monday to Friday. You’ll need to make a reservation. For more information, phone the bus service (2357 0592). There are no buses on weekends and public holidays. All public transport arrives at and departs from the area adjoining the CTO office.

Service taxis (2542 1346) regularly run between Platres and Lemesos for CY£2.50 per person. The service-taxi rank is next to the CTO office.
