    fantastic place...but beware!!

    Just got back from Cuba on Nov 1/11 from a wonderful vacation. Went to Casa de la Musica several times. It's a fantastic place with live bands and then turns into a disco...the last time I went there (Oct 28/11), my purse got stolen...I literally turned around for 30 seconds and it was gone...the so called security was of no help whatsoever. It was my 7th trip to Cuba and I've never had any issues regarding safety or my belongings. Ladies beware and NEVER put you clutches down not even for a second to light a cigarette or have your drink! It was rather disappointing as it was not another tourist, it was in fact, a local. Hoping that this is not a sign of changes in beautiful Cuba!
