Club el Iris
Just off Plaza de Marte, with an old-fashioned neon sign (which rarely works), the Iris is Santiago de Cuba's loudest, hottest and most 'happening' disco. The cover includes one drink, but at night it's couples only. Things generally get moving around midnight.

Piano Bar
A little more suave than the blazing hotel discos, this place is where you go to hear local Oscar Petersons tinkle on the ivories while you knock back CUC$1 mojitos.

El Pinero
Loud music along with most of the town's teenagers and 20-somethings converge by the boat for alfresco dancing. Drink and snack stalls also set up shop.
