Trinidad has more than 300 casas particulares and competition is fierce: arriving by bus or walking the streets with luggage, you'll be besieged by hustlers working for commissions and desperate casa owners. With so many beautiful homes and hospitable families renting here, there's no reason to stay somewhere you're not comfortable.
