From the murals, it's a 500m walk northwest to this leafy local recreation area. It's the best place to escape the midday heat, with its animal-themed playground for kids and cafeterias serving ice cream and snacks. There's a sorry selection of live animals here, too. The park is adjacent to the city cemetery.
