Tour description provided by Viator

Take a Sunday tour from Dubrovnik to Čilipi, one of the most traditional villages in the Konavle Valley, well-known for its beautiful rural landscapes, elegant national costumes and famous embroidery. This village has carefully preserved its traditions, and folklore has always been an important aspect of traditional culture. You’ll visit a local wine cellar and watch a native folklore performance.

Spend a Sunday morning in the village of Čilipi, where traditional folk dances are held every week. You will have a traditional Čilipi welcome with dry figs and herb brandy, followed by a walk through this picturesque village with its typical rural architecture.

Experience the richness in culture, folklore traditions and beautiful national costumes. Take a stroll around the many stands at the Sunday Fair, where you will have the chance to buy traditional handmade souvenirs and embroideries. This will be followed by a visit to a local wine cellar.

You’ll also have the option to attend the mass at St Nicholas church, where you can see the village people dressed in their traditional folk costumes. In the area in front of the church, enjoy a folklore performance of dances and folk music. You can also visit the Konavle Ethnographic Museum, arranged like a typical Konavle house with objects of daily use, jewelry and festive wedding costumes.

It will certainly be a morning to remember!
