I'm a solo traveller, late twenties.
I need to go on holiday in Oct.
I've heard Croatia might be good in OCT and possibly have the rural coastline I imagine?
i'm after a good solid restful retreat. I plan to read, walk, adventure, write and be a little active and healthy by the sea and in nature and near community.
Because it's so much better hearing it from people over adverts and deals and google searches - and don't know where to start looking through the choice - I thought I'd…
We are looking at getting a ferry from Venice to rovinj June 2017. No car just passengers. Is this crossing smooth? My daughter suffers from seasickness and not sure if we should risk this crossings or make our way from Venice to Croatia another way?
Also, need to get from Dubrovnik to Naples (Sorrento Amalfi Coast etc). I can't seem to find any direct flights? Are there? What would be the quickest way there?
Also, we are trying to meet extended family for a week in split and visit…
Could anyone recommend at least a couple of nice sandy beaches with calm waters( not too weavy) to swim and relax for 2 or 3 days in Korcula with bus access from Korcula old town where I will be staying in as I wont have a car. Thanks
I have checked accommodation in Dubrovnik for just 1 person and prices are from 40 euros for ensuite rooms ( no breakfast). Could anyone advice on a decent cheaper accommodation within the old town please? an e-mail to make a booking would help if possible. cheers
I have 7 days and I have almost decided to break it up between Dubrovnik ( 3 days)- Mostar( 1 or 2 days) and Korcula(2 or 3 days). I decided to leave Split for another trip as I have direct flights from London so I can go there in another ocassion. Is Mostar worth spending 2 days, enough to explore or one day can be enough?
Can anyone advise me on the best way to travel by public transport( ferries and buses) between these places?
i'm a female solo traveler, i'm planning to spend 8 nights in Croatia by mid October,
i need to know the destinations i should visit, knowing that i prefer sightseeing, hiking and any outdoors activities
Any advice would be appreciated ... My husband and I are looking to travel to Croatia for 2 weeks but we are taking our little one . We want to check out the best places and beaches/ beach towns . Any recommendatins would be greatly appreciated.
I was thinking Dubrovnik for a 5 days and then hopping around to maybe Rovinj etc..
I probably have enough time to visit only one of these towns (fly in fly out)... which one is "better"for a short visit. I'll be going in June. Is there more than visit the old town and see the beaches.
Hi & thanks in advance for your help.
We are a family of 4, 2 adults & two children are 10 & 4.
We are flying into Venice Italy and out of Rome italy from Australia
We are meeting our extended family in Croatia for one week and ages range from 4 years old to 76 years old. We would like to spend one week with extended family on a beach near split (this is where they fly into).
Apart from one week somewhere? The rest of the trip we'd prefer to spend 2-3 days in each place.
Also, my daughter…
We want to take the ferry from Istria to Cres, around October 8th. Leaving Brestova arriving in Porozina. is there any public transportation to Brestova from Pula or Rovinj, and public transport from Porozina to Cres town? If not, is it easy to find a private driver to take us? Once in Cres town, what are the public transpo options for getting around the island, and then onto Krk? We want to try to island hop over a 3 week period in October, no real plans or schedule, eventually making it…
