Lonely Planet review

This country-style restaurant is nestled underneath a traditional thatched patio strung with bunches of onions and plantain bananas, and serves local food that is anything but typical. The menu features tasty casados and traditional favorites such as chorreadas (pan-grilled corn cake served with cheese or sour cream) and tamales. The ingredients are fresh, the sauces are thick, the service is friendly and the prices are right.
