Introducing The Interamericana to Puerto Jiménez
A 78km road links the Interamericana (at Chacarita) with Puerto Jiménez. It is paved as far as Rincón, where a poor and potholed dirt road heads west towards the Pacific, passing Rancho Quemado (unmarked on most maps) and continuing to Bahía Drake. The coastal road continues all the way to Puerto Jiménez.
