Bus & taxi

Buses to Palmar Norte (US$0.50, 30 minutes) depart from in front of the Pulpería Fenix at 5:30am, 8:30am, 10:30am, 12:30pm, 3:30pm and 6pm. A taxi to Palmar costs about US$15.

Boat

If you are heading to Bahía Drake, your lodge will likely make arrangements for the bus and boat transfer. Otherwise, boats to Drake depart from the dock in front of Hotel Oleaje Sereno daily at 10:30am (US$20, 1½ hours). Private boats can also be chartered through Corcovado Expeditions; the going rate is about US$100.
