Lonely Planet review
This comfy, convivial inn has a handful of clean, modern, artfully painted rooms, lovely floor lamps, and doublewide macramé hammocks on the front porch. They offer regular yoga classes (US$12, schedule varies by the season), and the upstairs open-air restaurant-bar features pork loin marinated in brown sugar and Worcestershire, mahi slathered in lime sauce, and flank steak dressed in whiskey and cream. The sushi chef spears his own catch and serves it up raw. Even the burger is masterful. It's easily the best kitchen on the playa .
Our independent authors have visited Hotel Rip Jack Inn and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Playa Grande.
