How long in drake bay?

I am thinking of heading to Drake bay in a couple of days to go to Corcovado. I really wanted to do the 3 day hike but can't afford it so looking at the day trip, which costs about $85.

But drake bay is difficult to get to and I don't want to spend all that time travelling unless I can stay for 3-4 nights.

Are there free hikes to be done in the area? I know there is a coastal trail but not sure if I need a guide or a park permit.

Also, are there other things to do such as beach that could…

Monday January 19th => Liberia airport > Manuel Antonio National with rental car (5 hours drive?)

corcovado trek

Looking for current info/advice on spending a few days in corcovado national park at the end of March. What I have seen so far that one should spend 3 days to take advantage of the dusk/dawn wildlife. Nito through Surcostours seems to be the most highly recommended. We would like to bring our own food due to cost however unsure of the current status on food preparation. We will have a rental car so which entry point would be better..... Drake Bay or Puerto Jimenez? and lastly what should we be…

Help regarding proof of onward travel (Safe Passage)

Hi guys,

We are soon flying into Costa Rica from Mexico and will spend a week or two there before needing to take the Tica bus in to Panama where we will fly out of.

We have booking references for our flights out of Panama to show but no onward travel from Costa Rica to Panama so far. We have found a company called Safe Passage that can book our Tica bus tickets in advance and email us the scanned receipt so we have that to show when entering Costa Rica...we're just wondering if our flights…

Tamarindo Nov 24-Dec1

Was curious if any solo travelers were going to be in Tamarindo for the last week of November 2014. I have a condo in Tamarindo and will be on my own for that week. Would be great to meet some other travelers to hang out with. I'm a 34 year old male just looking to make new friends to go surfing, drinks at the local bars and even dinners. I love meeting new poeple from all parts of the world, I also know the area quite well. Look forward to making new friends :)
