Lonely Planet review
Perched on a cliff overlooking the coast, this intimate hotel is a step up from other local lodgings. Eleven rooms have tasteful wood and wicker furniture, contemporary artwork on the walls, and private terraces with stunning vistas of Playa del Coco. The elegant infinity pool and the breezy rooftop restaurant share the same panoramic view.
It's a short drive from town: just south of Flor de Itabo, head west off the main road and follow the signs.
Our independent authors have visited Hotel Chantel and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Northern Peninsula.
