Hotel La Carreta
Lonely Planet review
Owners Rita and Ed have beautifully refurbished these skylit rooms, installing orthopedic beds, reading lights and hand-painted murals by local artists. In addition to the indoor dining area, there’s a pleasant garden terrace for sipping coffee and reading something you’ve picked up from the book exchange in the front room. Breakfasts feature homemade pastries, and nonguests can also stop by for lunch. It’s located directly behind the big church.
Our independent authors have visited Hotel La Carreta and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Tilarán.
