Under renovation when we visited and affiliated with Hacienda Guachipelín, this long-running spa reopened to the public in February, 2012. Expect volcanic mud baths, sauna, cold pool, showers and lounge chairs, all in a natural outdoor setting. You can also arrange massages and spa treatments on the spot, though it’s recommended you reserve ahead.
