Monteverde Friends School information
Here’s a great way for children to learn about and interact with the local culture: spend some time at the schoolhouse. With advance reservation, visitors can sit in on morning assembly and tour the grounds. Kids are even invited to attend a class (and recess!) with an English-speaking buddy.
Volunteers who can make a long-term commitment are invited to work with local students, providing tutoring, art projects, music lessons, technology assistance or other individualized attention.
