Set out on its own, this self-proclaimed ‘five-star hostel’ with volcano views is among the cushier hostels in Costa Rica. Dorm rooms have private hot-water bathroom, and you’ll sleep easy on the thick, orthopedic mattresses. Private rooms definitely cater to midrange travelers but they’re worth the splurge. The newest budget accommodations option is the covered tent city; each raised tent contains a double air mattress and electricity. But the real draw is the landscaped pool with swim-up bar, where backpackers spend lazy days lounging with a cold beer. You'll be in a traveler's party bubble here. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Description
Arenal Backpackers Resort is the 5-star hostel of Costa Rica. This beautiful hostel/resort has a spectacular view of the Arenal Volcano, and is just a few minutes walk from the town centre and bus stop. The open setting of the hostel also makes it the perfect place for meeting fellow travelers.
This hostel has everything that you need and more!
Facilities include: Pristine swimming pool, with wet bar and sun loungers, A large garden with hammocks, Games: cards, board games, twister, slip n slide, etc, Free internet room with A/C and wireless access, Information and Tour Desk, Restaurant, Fully bilingual staff and 24 hour security

We can also arrange any tour or transfer that you want, with discounted prices. We know that we can get you great deals, because we're a large hostel with a constant flow of guests, and our 5-star service means that we will go out of our way to help you with whatever you need.
Tents:
We have a brand new deluxe camping area! This area is covered and each tent has a double mattress, lighting, power sockets and an outside locker room.

Hostel conditions:
We hold reservations until 4pm - we cannot guarantee your reservation if you arrive after that time.
