OK, so the terms ‘eco’ and ‘mining’ don’t mix well, but it’s worth seeing the photographs and models depicting the old mining practices of the area. On the grounds are a picnic area and children’s play area, and a good system of trails that skirt mining artifacts. There’s also good bird-watching (and iguana-ing) along the trails, and monkeys are occasionally glimpsed.
