Inconveniently located about 2.5km northwest of Cañas on the Interamericana, this small, family-run Tico resort isn't a bad choice if you have wheels.
A quiet cheapie at the far end of town, it has some ghastly older rooms but the four rooms in the new building (um, you'll know where they are) have fresh tiles, crown mouldings, cable tv and wi-fi, and the area is fairly quiet at night.
Right on the Interamericana. Ask for your absolutely standard room (some with air-con, hot shower and/or TV) in the back, away from the highway noise.
Here is a professionally run collection of decent, tiled rooms with wooden beds, air-con and hot water, off the main drag. It's quiet, super clean and those potted (silk!) plants offer merely the illusion of nature.
