Getting there & away
The brand-spanking-new bus terminal is on the western edge of town off Hwy 10. In addition to the services listed below, there are also frequent local buses to the villages of La Suiza, Tuis and Santa Cruz.
Monumento Nacional Guayabo US$0.75, one hour, depart at 11:15am, 3:10pm and 5:20pm.
San José US$2, 1¾ hours, depart hourly from 5am to 9pm.
Siquirres, for transfer to Puerto Limón US$1.50, 1¾ hours, depart almost hourly.
