Getting there & away

If you have your own car, you can take a good gravel road passable to all vehicles from Purisil to the park entrance.

Buses are a bit trickier. From Cartago, take an Orosi-bound bus (though make sure it’s going to Purisil). From there, it’s a 5km walk to the entrance. Or, you can take a cab (771 5116, 551 2797) from Orosi to the park for about US$12 one way.
