Getting there & away
Most buses depart from the two sheltered bus stops on the Costanera in the main village.
Ciudad Cortés/Palmar US$1/1.50, one/1½ hours, buses originate in Dominical and pick up passengers in Uvita at about 4:45am and 10:30am (times depend on whether the driver stops for breakfast).
San Isidro de El General, via Dominical US$1.50, 1½ hours, departs 6am and 2pm.
San José, via Dominical & Quepos US$5, seven hours, 5am 6am, and 2pm.
