Lonely Planet review
This welcoming roadside inn is owned by a Polish-born US citizen – hence the very appropriate moniker, tres banderas (three flags). The 14 doubles and three suites are spacious affairs with imported tiles and local woods and, while some could use a bit of air, all come with jungle-facing terraces furnished with leather rocking chairs. Good for wildlife sightings.
Dinner is often prepared on an outdoor grill and guests congregate to dine together around the deep central pool, which lends a communal flourish to the property.
Our independent authors have visited Hotel Tres Banderas and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Quepos to Manuel Antonio.
