Lonely Planet review
In an area that is hopelessly overpriced, it’s a relief to find such a great budget hostel. Perched scenically on a quiet hillside, this memorable spot allows guests to enjoy spectacular ocean sunsets from a hammock-filled terrace and strum the communal guitar. A short trail hike through local farmland leads to a remote wilderness beach. The spick-and-span white-tiled dorms have shared bathrooms, a communal kitchen and a TV lounge, though there are private bungalows for couples that want a bit more privacy. Sonia and her son Conrad, the helpful Tico owners, speak fluent English, and are commendable for their efforts in assisting countless travelers.
Our independent authors have visited Hostel Vista Serena and selected this as one of our recommended hostels in Quepos To Manuel Antonio.
