Taxi

Taxis to Uvita cost US$10, while the ride to San Isidro costs US$20 and the ride to Quepos is US$50. Cars can accommodate up to five people. Minivans for up to 28 passengers can also be arranged. For service call Del Tabaco Real & Taxi Dominical (814 444), which can arrange pick ups and drop offs anywhere in the region.

Land

Bus

All buses arrive and depart at the end of the road next to Cabinas Coco. These schedules change regularly, so ask about times before setting out. (Most hotel owners have current schedules.)

Ciudad Cortés US$2.50, two hours, departs 4:15am and 10am.

Palmar US$2, 1¾ hours, 4:30am and 10:30am.

Quepos US$2, four hours, 7:30am, 8am, 10:30am, 1:45pm, 4pm and 5pm.

San Isidro US$1, one hour, 6:45am, 7:15am, 2:30pm and 3:30pm.

Uvita US$0.75, one hour, 4:30am, 10:30am, noon and 6:15pm.
