If you are heading to Parismina, take the Caño-Aguilar bus (768 8172) to Caño Blanco (US$1.50, two hours) at 4:15am or 12:30pm Monday through Friday, 7:15am or 3:15pm Saturday and Sunday. Boats to Parismina (US$2, 10 minutes) wait for the buses in Caño Blanco, departing at 6am and 3pm Monday through Friday, and 9am and 5pm Saturday and Sunday.

Siquirres is a regular stop on the San José–Limón route, so you can catch a bus to either destination every hour between 6am and 7pm.
