Amazing vegetarian, vegan, and raw food for a great price!

    mrmetropolitan recommends this,

My wife and I are budget travelers, as well as vegetarians. We have been trying to be vegan and have had a good amount of trouble while traveling in Central America. However, we were excited to find Veronica's Place in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca. Our first night we had the most delicious veggie burger which was made vegan for us by request. It was huge! The second night we had fried plantains and traditional Costa Rican fare with a Carribean twist. We can't get enough of Veronica's Place and highly recommend it. Veronica is a very sweet woman and will most likely stop and chat with you while you are there.

Veronica also offers a home stay as well as tours and Spanish Lessons. They even have an organic farm nearby one can work in if they desire. I would greatly recommend Veronica's Place to anyone, especially a person who is curious about good food that makes one feel great. The juices are all amazing, as they are made with local organic juices right from their local farm. I can not recommend Veronica's Place enough. It's my favorite place so far in a country that could definitely use more vegetarian and vegan restaurants.
