Lonely Planet review
This small, friendly inn just west of town has 17 snug, basic rooms, some of which share cool-water showers. A few units are rather dim, though the ones facing the garden are airy. A 2nd-floor lounge is filled with hammocks and offers prime ocean views. Bikes are available for rent; credit cards accepted.
Our independent authors have visited Kaya's Place and selected this as one of our recommended hostels in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca.
