Lonely Planet review
This guesthouse, dating from 1904, has simple, graceful rooms with spacious bathrooms and hallways lined with Spanish tiles. Furnishings are basic (creaky beds), but it’s a tranquil, couples-friendly spot. There’s a small internet lounge and outdoor patio adorned with epiphytes.
Our independent authors have visited Costa Rica Guesthouse and selected this as one of our recommended hostels in Around San José.
