A good local spot to try goat – one of the Wayuu’s most popular dishes. It is owned by the same family that owns Asadero Don Pepe. See if they have friche – goat cooked in its own fat, traditionally with innards and all (you can hold the innards), and chopped into small chunks. Or chivo asado , a more straight-up slab of grilled goat meat.
